Centers of Excellence Programs
USA Cycling’s Center of Excellence designation is awarded to select junior and Under-23 development teams which excel in the development of young cycling athletes. Centers of Excellence meet strict requirements and are eligible for grants from the USA Cycling Foundation. These programs consistently demonstrate the ability to develop young riders into nationally competitive athletes, annually place riders in USA Cycling Regional and National development camps and in the National Development Program. Since the program’s inception fifteen years ago, the USA Cycling Foundation has distributed over $500,000 in grant awards directly to these grass-roots development efforts. Center of Excellence Grants are made possible by the generous donations to the USA Cycling Foundation.
